Prayers are devoted to Lolth at any time of day, but there are two specific sessions, morning prayer and dusk prayer, which are recognised by every member of the temple, with the only exceptions being the guards on duty at the gate. Once a prayer session has commenced none may enter or leave except by Lolth’s will until it has finished.
Morning Prayer
The Matron Mother or the most senior High Priestess present opens the ritual. Once opened it can be led by any Priestess and is often used as part of the test of devotion. All worshippers are blessed and sent out to further Lolth’s aims. It is not unusual for accountings to be demanded of worshippers of their recent activities and the unfaithful are punished.

The Dusk Prayer
The Dusk Prayer is said every day whilst the surface world creeps into darkness. All devout Lolth worshippers are expected to attend. Any sacrifices or gifts to Lolth are presented at the Dusk Prayer and all worshippers must be seen and heard giving praise to the Qua'Val-Sharess. If a devotee’s prayers find favour they may be granted with visions from Lolth and even perform miracles in Her name.
The Dusk Litany
“O Flesh Carver, who wove the world;
Who made us from the darkest clay,
Spinning in it a red web of vein and artery,
We feel thy hunger.
O Lolth, humbly today we feed thee.
We feed you this flesh, this quivering meat.
