Triel Cruentatus became a threat to our Empire in 1120, when she launched an assault against us during the Gathering of Nations which she used to claim a throne from the former White Council. Triel once held this seat on the council, and we believe has taken it as a symbol of her role to lead.
Triel Cruentatus was born late in the Second Age to Uttuku Cruentatus, at the height of the Drow Empire. At this point in time the Dark Elven Council sat at Telantiwar, and each of the houses of the Empire kept a diplomatic contingent in the city.
Triel, like much of her family, excelled in mage craft and ritual magic. She quickly gained a reputation for her skill, and her temperament made her ideal for representing her mothers wishes at Telantiwar.
During her time at Telantiwar infighting amongst the Drow Empire reached its height with the death of the Val'sharess. It is believed this may have been the catalyst for Triel's destruction of the city. Whilst little is known about the ritual, we do know that power was gathered in the circle and then that power was detonated destroying the city in the process.
Letters from Triel suggest that this ritual also led to her undeath.
