The Throne, Lych and the Baelnorn (Telantiwar)
Bee’s
Our second day a hive of underdark Bee’s chased a drow into camp who had attempted to kill the queen of their hive, they were not hostile to our forces and concerned only with the Drow they had chased. We later found that a second Drow who had separated from the other had encountered the force of dragons who had come to assist us had been healed and allowed to escape into the underdark once more. Investigation of who these forces were unfortunately put to one side when a large force of Triels Minions attacked out camp.
Bael Norns
The General of the faction who sought to slay all unliving is believed to have been killed.
Triel
Throughout our time in the ancient city forces of Triel would continue to assault our position her forces attempting to steal our iconic items.
Our time and investigation by the High ritualist found perhaps the source of Triels continual power. She with her command of ritual magic and ancient knowledge has linked the transport / ritual circle directly to the Throne of Telantiwar using it to power herself and act as a phylactery preventing her destruction. Further investigation should take place urgently to destroy the link between the circle and the throne to allow us a change to destroy Triel.
The Cube
In a timely occurrence members of the faction were in place to witness what became apparent as heretical followers of the now destroyed cube, to understand the machinations of their continued heresy they attempted to seal the ritual circle (A fact quickly dismissed by the high ritualist who was present) and so allowed to continue in the ritual it is reported they formed with their power a cube and then empowered it with there very patterns. Ultimately the ritual failed and the cultists were dead
Quatha
The general the 9th Tarantulan army lead by the might barrow wright Quatha brought her forces forth to confront the war commander and her fellow generals about order to have her and the 9th killed. This was investigated and a member of the 2nd and 4th armies were killed for their betrayal.
The Revenant and trials of the Pantheon.
A shrine was found on our first excursions into the area we has secured our staging post in Telantiwar further investigation in the light of day revealed this was the inspiration to the temple in Zy'liir where our nation held the Great Edrejan Fair (GEF) the revenant charged with the protection of this shrine.
Kanchelsis/Ma'azabiir
The followers of this ancestor predominantly members of House Grey and Micar as well as allies organised and Lead by Adm Maglust Transported to the City of souls. Where in they have discovered that the forces of the 1000 isle have indeed vacated. However the area is now under the control of elemental beings of water. Who demanded a tribute in the form of 16 thaums of power to enhance their protection from magics. Unwilling to pay a toll to enter there ancestral lands the transport team attacked. Though after a short time it was found the forces were evenly matched and negotiation resumed for a much smaller sum. After which a Goblet of water was retrieved from the Glimmering sea and the Team began to move out. I have been advised that members of the team briefly remained behind in discussion with these elementals, the result of which appeared to be the enragement of a large Elemental creature. Hearing the roars of the creature and with your task complete I began the rite of transportation with the rites completion coming only moments before the Elemental creature crashed into our lines. Upon our return the rite involving the water we had retrieved was complete.
Schandalun
A trial for our artisans, the materials had been gathered and the task to create Items of faith, The highlight being a blessed spider but others included necklaces and bracelets worth of any Ilheress.
Ineluki
A task taken upon directly by our High Ritualist, who with there skill performed a rite regarding Ineluki and also incorporating other trials including Neeloc Raye
Skiasca
In the best practices of the academies. Knowledge was shared and opinions discussed such topics included the recent changes in Erdreja brought about by the excess chaos energies and how particular elements effect specific races.
Kiransalee
Vengence in its simplest form a worthy pattern was presented to the revenant to send screaming into the maw of Kiransalee.
Eilistraee
The underdark is a dangerous place and only the followers of Eilistraee are able to bring forth the joy of song to echo its dark passages. With the loss of the founding members of the order of Eilistraee, it was left to our guests from the Dragons to bring song again to the caves of **telantiwar. The Revent deemed their attempt adequate.
Lualyrr
A panel of five was convened, A Palidin of Lualyrr, A captain of the Milita, A druid of **Edreja, ** and Myself.
We were shown a vision A matron mother was accused by her son of killing his lover a female servant of the house. This servant was accused of being a Vhaerun cleric, and trying to lure the son away. This first witness, was then accused by a second of only witnessing the act while attempting to steal from the temple. The second witness was a follower of Eilistraee and had also witnessed goings on between the lovers while they composed there songs.
The judgment was as such
The Matron mother was within her right as leader of the house to sacrifice a member of her house.
The Son was exiled from the house and would join the order of Eilistraee.
The Second Witness would return to there prayer in the temple.
The First witness had been most fervent in there accusations and the amount of discord they were attempting to convey was evident, the Second witness has also accused them of colluding with the betrayer as such they are to be taken by the Inquisition for further testing and questions.
- Notation: In the not to distance past I would have had all put to death. The Matron was not a follower of Lolth, Her Son was betraying his house and as a Male only has the purpose to serve at his mother decree. The Second Witness was a follower of Eilistraee an act of Heresy. And the first witness would have also been killed for attempting to rob the temple, and for the heresy of following the betrayer – the accusation at an unaligned male being enough.
Ergosal
Ergosal a second marshal trial which more in the in the vein of selvertarn looked at the marshal skill of the combatants and not the normal destruction of your foe
J’imasro
J’imasro like Eilistraee is unusual for the underdark in their behaviour, they seek entertainments and are know there their frivolities and drinking and so this trial was undertaken by our guests the dragons. The protagonist of this merriment even had the gaul to suggest ..Dancing. My faith in Lord Iron Founder was rewarded as he quickly de-escalated the situation without the need for bloodshed.
Selvetarm
Selvetarm a marshal contest the champion defeated various challengers known for their resilience or skill but in the end they were brought low by the High scout - Jander who’s keen observations of the previous fights had found a weakness which they exploited to deadly effect
Neeloc Raye
Neeloc Raye Included in the rite to Ineluki the trial of Neeloc Raye the remembrancer came in the form know knowledge regarding the Icons of our nation which have been targeted by Triel ***. The cup, the Sword, the book and the Crown Each member of the faction who was gifted with the use of one of there great items spoke fervently with great passion.
Vhaerun
Vhaerun: Oh I love a good bit of IC thievery and secrecy. This was a joy to bring the trial out. The Natural way of role playing this one came to me as slight madness. “Secrets, Secrets everywhere. Test you. Yes, Yes, Test you. Find the secrets. Take them. He wants to see them. Then later to have a little red dragon sit next to me who almost sounded the same as i did and i had no idea this dragon was even a things but i felt like it worked like a coincidence.
- Note: it is also at this time the Red dragon known as Malifax also appeared and interacted with the nation and its guests, its true intent and motivations are unknown to me.
Forbeo
It is my understanding that a series of beacons were sent out and a small elite force were sent and clearly stealthy followed this trail and succeeded in this trial. The Revenant itself was said to be only vaguely aware of the presence of the presence.
