The war against Arcadia has come to a head. The heartlands have struck out to Arcadia, and plan to end this conflict. In a huge undertaking, we have sailed to the newly crashed Arcadia.
The Lions spearheaded this attack. We are not well known for our naval prowess so we left that part to the Heartlands to arrange.
We quickly discovered there was an Arcadian General that was bound in someway to a phoenix. Whilst the phoenix lived, so did the General, and since the phoenix would be reborn – the General was particularly tricky to deal with.
During the course of the weekend, tactics were developed, and a plan to deal with the phoenix and this general. In the moments of death as the phoenix was dying, presented an opportunity where the General would be vulnerable. It was a small window before rebirth, but the collective efforts of the Heartlands made it possible.
During this final push however, the Silver throne appeared in the area we had set up as our encampment, just outside the ritual circle. Amongst other effects, this seems to have altered the energies of the ritual circle towards Death.
In that same breath, the last ritual we were able to perform before the watchers powered down the circle was our own.
A new ritualist to the faction, named Hufflefluff led a ritual to attempt to train Ilharess Carythwen Kerithrion the highest levels of Incantation. The power in the circle was allowed to build for far too long a time, and Erdreja reacted to protect herself. All the power, and everything inside the seal was sucked into the void. Every being inside that circle was destroyed by the ravages of the void.
