The Gathering of Nations of the year 1115 third founding.
A year that will also be known as the Siege of Al'Qufar. For those that don't know, Al'Qufar is the city of the dead. Mirrored on this plane, identically so on the planes of unlife. The phrase city does not really do it justice, it covers huge swathes of the Southlands, and is more comparable to the combined size of 12 of our largest cities.
In 1114 the gates al Al'Qufar were broken, and huge numbers of Unliving swarmed out of the city and across the Southlands. They quickly made their way to the Heartland nations.
In a combined effort involving every Heartland nation, we each contributed large numbers of our armies to the assault. The Tarantulas co-organised the assault with the Jackals, and contributed the largest portion of the armies. The assault was brutal, many armies were destroyed during the assault, our own forces suffered significant losses. The walls were breached on the Friday of the Gathering, at which point the Spears of Zoraster guided each factions elite into the fray to form our beachhead.
The Unliving inside spent the weekend trying to take this beachhead away from us, leading those forces now was Komassai, formerly one of Dracos' most trusted generals.
There were significant losses during this Gathering of Nations.
- Master Narcissus Cruentatus, Master of the Corruptors Guild, General of the Tarantulas 9th Army - Was killed whilst inside the corruptors guild, I am led to believe he was poisoned.
- Il'haress Kora Karrash-Morr, High Mage of the Tarantula Nation - Petrified whilst on a mission for the demon known as Xatabai
- Elerie of House Rea'Morda - She has been a frequent guest of ours, and a skilled healer. Her body was found in camp following an attack by unliving. No details have been made public as to the nature of her death.
On the brighter side of news.
The faction, alongside the Incantors guild, went to extraordinary lengths to ensure the memory of Ineluki continues to exist as an Ancestor. The new tree planted has since split into two, we believe as people are worshipping Dracos as well. Long term effects of this are yet to be determined.

War with the Healers Guild was averted (in part thanks to my suddenly developing an escort/responsible adult) after the Healers Guild managed to misplace every factions High Healer plus one of Erdrejas most respected healers - Lobos Ducatti - for over three hours. We took an angry warband to locate them, found them safe and well and transported them home. Then berated them.
