Our second venture to the surface this season was to be in Vipers lands at the City of Aachen home of House Ordos

 

Triel infiltration

The Red Dragon Malifax

Malifax was to assist our nation several times during our surface meeting, the first to give warning that Agents of the Betrayer has infiltrated our nation, though we did not know the form of this infiltration, a singular person, small group or house. Agents of the Inquisition have been tasked with routing this taint.

The Young adventurer know as "Little Dragon" called upon Malifax to provide our nation with guidance on a task the greatest minds of our nation, that of Dragons and Guilds had yet to resolve. The translation of a document which hid the secrets of the area know as the Mines of Mullengar, and reffered to as the "Labrinth" This information allowed a second excersion into the area.

House Cruentatus visit - Security

Servants of "She of the Silver mask" visited the camp to test our security, individuals circled the camp and attempted to gain access. While a force of Norn from Nikkiga attempted access through the game While the faction discussed things with the force at the gate, an unliving member was questioned under control and it was found there intent was true. This member was granted a tour of the camp while still under the control and guard to allow them to identify weaness within our defence which we may act upon.

 - Further to this two servants of triel were identified and executed over the weekend, attempting to gather information about our nation, though i suspect there were more.

The White Tree at Tarinath

There has been much discussion regarding the tree at the location hosted by the Unicorns at the Gathering in the comming months, and of a Dwarf Gazran Goldenaxe who wishes to destroy the tree completly and release a world ending force. Current throughts are that the tree must indeed be destroyed. However, in a way as to make the forces released manageable by the heartland nations. The Tree is said to have three components. The Canopy representing the Mind, The trunk representing the body and lastly the roots representing the Spirit. What impact destroying each of these parts may yeald is unknown to me at this time.

Other goings on

House Eternals new custodianship of the Fortress of Maerimyn appears to be going less that prefect as for the second time local farmers and commoners were discruntled with there situaltion in the Fortress, and so they abandoned there posts and without permission came to the surface to bother their betters, House eternal magnanimously listened to there words before slaying them.

The End of Illharess XXXXX

The matter of who would go on to rule House DuXXX and the city of Veldren Sharr is concluded. llharess XXX under the gise if a tour of the camp expressed privately to me her decsion to abdicate the thrown of House DuXXX to the remaining interested party Corren Morgun. Illharess Morgun having given up her interest in the issue previously that day. Once the Oath was given by Corren, The Preistess willing gave herself to Lolth Embrace before the Arch of Lolthiriel and the gathered members of the nation, few of our people ever get to choose such a noble death.

Trial Of Zinnzerinna

The Aspect of Zinnzerinna appeared at midnight on our first night on the surface within the reliquary where the order were already gathered for prayer and dedication of our newest acolytes. Its first requirment was for the one who caused the offence at the previous Gathering of nation to be brought forth, to which i immedatly stept forth as the one responceable as is right.
The Trial was simple my death was called for and so i commanded the order to proceed. When it was clear despite my clear and loud commands they would not act i sought action amoungst the nation who were already approching the reliquary having hear my calls for death, though it again took some time of one to act Rezeki Cruentatus was the first with a harming blow, and was then followed by a succession of blows which rendered me unconsious and i was told that Kyle Morgan eventually brought forth a blade with which to smite me and cause a mortal wound.
All the while members of the nation would oppose this action. The empathy shown to me at this time reflects my service to the nation for it did not take long for one to the nation to confront this act with a clear statment, "I had already been punished for my actions" Willow Illharess of House Grey was struck down for these words and her pattern marked by Lolth , even after this she still healed by wounds. The Trial was over we had failed to act in the way of Zinnzerinna I still lived the nation had been hesetant and shown empathy to the target of Lolth wrath.

Trial of Megwandiir

As the Sssiks (Ilythiiri Bhehan) was at its peak and myself and Illharess Grey were returning to camp i found myself suddenly delivered in a local transport with new knowledge, Those who had defended me and opposed the Actions of Zinnzerinna were each gifted a letter which i was to collect and return to the eys's of Lolth at the reliquary. But also the Nation were tasked to return me and those letter to the Eye within the hour.

The time constraint and not know who specifically had the letters i sought support on the hunt. The Jackals and unicorns faction were close but both camps were empty and so i approched the Bears and before long they pleged there support, but as we began to move out scouts sent out by the nation found me but were easy to dispatch as the veil of the Hunter desended upon me. This delay allowed more of the Nation arrived following reports that i was slaying the Bears. Actions accelerated and insinctually i struck down a member of the bears faction who attempted to discern my pattern inturn i was frozen in place my a Bear mage, allowing the Nation to force there claim upon me as the bears sought to defuse the situation. Though i would attempt to continue ultimely i was caught and returned the the Eye at the reliquary. 

At this time i have still to obtain all the letters.. the Hunt goes on
