The Betrayer has made it known that they have killed the Imperator Barran Iron founder. Last seen by members of our nation While battling the Lych kings at the GeF Barran failed to return to the capital and has not been in contact with members of his house and not come to the surface to lead the nation at this surface gathering. Certainly The Inquisition will be investigating the flecks of truth in the lie that is the betrayers words.

 

Shielding of the arch

The tasks set to Corrin and Kyle by Lolthiriel and Lolth have been going well with Prayers and the worship of Lolth being spreading across the nations of Edreja. They only received this because of an act of faith, setting themselves as a filter to the corruption directed to Lolth though the arch this act would provide Lolth with the ability to strike back against the betrayers influence but in time would destroy them both. Research across the year would formulate a plan to shield the arch and repel the power of the betrayer back against them. With the aid of the Dwarfen nation and their leader King Olath and our own Throngir champion of Schandalun's expertise at creating and smithing materials were gathered, Moon silver, particularly effective against ancestral beings with Ruby and zinc. These material in combination with Waylans forge smelted and crafted a carapace sheathing the arch adding further protection. With this divine protection in place Lolth released both Corrin and Kyle from there duty as protectors of the arch allowing them to spread her word further than ever before.

 

Plants driven back !

While I was for the simple eradication of all effected plants from the underdark, others have followed a different path to resolving the issue. Min and Belladonna with the support of High Healer Thariel where able to removed an alien parasite from one of several saplings held securely in the underdark this action impacted the alien influence in the area releasing around a quarter of the plants affected. The location of Three further saplings are the Crystal forest, the Island of downfall and the cave of whispers each have their own protections and will need to be checked as soon as possible.

 

Crowning of Imperator Elerra

Early evening on our second night on the surface an elemental being of fate, a pivotal moment to save the empire had come. the forces of the betrayer, were attempting to seize the throne of Talantiwar and anoint themselves as the ruler of the empire. Gathering our forces I lead the nation to our ancient capital which we had been told was off limits because the threat the Baelnorns posed to our people and specifically the militant faction against our undead. Battling through our foes we arrived in the throne room to be confronted by a true avatar of our hated foe, I quickly ordered the throne moved and evacuated back to camp before setting upon the Avatar, the power of the being was such that it freely drew upon power to repair itself its armour and land blows to harm those who stood against it. without the tools available to crush this foe we lured it out and managed to transport it back to the surface gathering. Ultimately we would gather a wedge together and destroy the being utterly a mighty blow against the Betrayers power.

 

With the Avatar of the Betrayer defeated an avatar of Lolth made a declaration a new leader must be appointed and choosing badly would see that creature destroyed. The golden twins who anointed Barran came forth and after some deliberation decided upon Elerra referred  to as "The project" one of Barrans advisors a mysterious figure who's thoughts and faith remain unknown to the nation. Yet the Avatar approved and she sat upon the throne and was crowned the new imperator securing the thrown from the Betrayers grasp
