Evrons continued corruption

Evron the embodiment of Evil has though a process unknown to Erderja latched themself to the Arch of Lothiriel. What is known is that Maeve who had only recently come to the surface was sacrificed in the reliquary by Evrons minions while the faction were distracted by another foe. The Arch itself was by Lolth grace in another location at the time under heavy guard. But was returned to the reliquary once the threat in camp was eliminated.

Answers as to how this could have occurred were sought from the factions and Guilds of Erderja but no answer was known.

A Rite was conducted to cleanse and shield the arch but its effect was minimal.

The Avatars visit

An Avatar of Araushnee appeared from the Arch within hours of us reaching the surface with grave news regarding the arch. They would advise where possible be it would be for use to defeat the plans of the betrayer.

Next the Avatar would seek out Lipnis of the Dragons to answer there words made at another surface gathering.

 

Lipnis of the Dragons

Lipnis having through Tathal spoken to Lolth and requesting a date was visited by the aspect of Araushnee and given a simple task, they must bind themselves to Lolth forsaking there ancestor the fool. To Lolths pleasure they agreed and i was not given the chance to send there pattern to the Daemon web pits. What followed was what is know to those on the surface as a date, where Lipnis gave gifts to Lolth when were deemed suitable and after some time the Avatar returned to Lolth side perhaps happy with the time spent and that they would return.

Visions from Megwandiir

A warning came that minions of The Betrayer where on the surface, as so the faction spread out i was fortunate to head to the Jackels camp and picked up some other on the way, while explaining the issue to the Empress of the Jackels a pair of humans visited the camp speaking with Sticks of House Eternal, and it emerged that they were offering wealth and power in exchange of icons and other things from our nation. With the Permissions of the Empress the minions of the Betrayer where quickly felled and brought back for questing before meeting there fait and being dedicated to lolth

We did learn that once again they had transported from the circle of Scarsferry below

The plant predicament

The prevalence of the alien influence on the plants of the Underdark is beginning to have an impact on the ability of our people to traverse the northern Underdark having already started to impact our food production

Wolves and Ice giants

The overall lack of information received from the Wolves over the time on the surface lead us to prioritise our own needs and leave the surface to focus on the alien plant issue
