The Blessed Spire of Lolthiriel hidden for an age in the mysts of West Lyonesse

The Spire

Entering the vestibule Lolthiriel spire it was clear of its heritage with signs of early elven history and lineage  throughout and a stained glass window of the golden twins. However, Triel has also been present and the tower interior remained sealed by a vast black portal marked with images of undead some of who certainly resembled known figures of the nations such as Naiobe leader of the Gryphons. Each of these images acted as a lock and through investigation and a visit from the handmaiden of Lolth each would be dismissed the four outer locks would require 100 thaums and the centre lock 160 thaums. The Faction and its diplomats informed I would spend a few hours visiting the nations gathering the number required.

Death of Iza Darkblade

A force of Akari sent by Durge came to the camp and quickly turned hostile, the nation spread out investigating the spire and informing the nation of Erdreja what they may expect to see would be ill prepared to repel this attack which was focused on killing Iza and myself and would only be driven off with the combined forces of those nation camped nearby. Iza was dedicated to Forbeyo as was her will in life

Death of Willow

The opening of the spire would act as a beacon to Triel and her forces who would begin assaulting the spire mements after the doors were opened it is perhaps luck that Triel herself was not in the spire when the door were opened. This battle would go on for some time but as was her way Ilheress Grey would lead from the front mocking the enemy as she smote them to the ground. And to Triel herself would strike and strike out at the captain of the Militia before dragging her off into the darkness taunting the gathered forces.
Willow would be dedicated to Vengeance as was her will in life.

Striking back at our Foes

Defeat of Triel

After our losses the previous day the nations efforts were doubled in unearthing the secrets of the spire they would be successful with teams risking there own lives while being sealed within one of the two thrones rooms. in the end we gained access to the throne of Telantiwar stolen by Triel and used as her phylactery. As Triel and her forces attacked once again the link was broken and Triel smote in vengeance

 

Cleansing the land

With Triel defeated only the forces of Briar remained our remaining task was to cleanse the area of its necromantic taint. This would involve a rite the details of which were uncovered and deciphered from within the spire as per the images within the spire avatars of Lolthiriel and Iniluki would sit upon a the thrones from within the site and two consecutive rites conducted to cleanse the area.

Our allies and supporting nations would for a protective ring around the rite and though the enemy made several suicidal chargers they were unsuccessful in stopping the rites or starting there own.

Post battle note: It was found that at least a pair of assassins were found to be out and hunting Corrin Morgan both were dispatched at least one was a low level unliving
