The Arc
The Arc cleansed, The order gathered early on the surface to perform a rite of cleansing on the arch similar to our previous efforts when last on the surface. This time would try to filter and cleanse the corruption before it could touch the Arch as well as remove any corruption within the Arc itself. And so Kyle Morgan champion of the order along with Corran paladin of Lualyrr chose to place themselves as these filters there natural protection as Paladins being resistant to corruption. And so the order and others who followed the true faith gave power the Arch was cleansed and Kyle and Corrin placed successfully as Guardians of the Arch ceasing the corruption. The Arc would remain within the cave of whispers safe under the protection of the order.
Our nation was part of the coalition with ultimately won the Gathering battle to decide the direction of the 1000 Iles
Wedding of Runa and Tathal and The Betrayers first blow
Runa chose a ceremony following the norsican style of hand fastening many friends of the couple and nation were in attendance to witness including an avatar of Hel Runas ancestor. The ceremony looked to be enjoyed by all, not long after its conclusion the forces of the Betrayer stuck perhaps looking to kill as many of us and our allies as possible while our guard was down. though the forces was strong and included true avatars of the betrayer is was crushed swiftly.
Death of Lady Briseis Oakenblade Maelthra - Former high ritualist of the Nation
Briseis supporting the watchers set out on a search for knowledge with an excursion to the Plane of Knowledge. Reports indicate an altercation and Briseis opted to turn herself over to settle the issue and also gain the required knowledge sought by the watchers. This report comes from the those who were in attendance and who benefited from the result.
The Betrayers Second blow
Lolthiriel -
Visions struck the faithful of Lolthiriel being hunted by forces of the betrayer, others also had various visions of Lolthiriel hunting the faithful and other confusing scenarios
The Betrayers Third strike
Megwandiir -
The second attack was the control of an avatar of Megwandiir who’s first instruction was my destruction with the forces of the betrayer attempting to stop anyone from approaching my when the avatar struck me down. Various allies were able to assist me. I attempted to pull the avatar away form the faction to hunt me as prey. But such was the influence of the betrayer this failed
Ultimately as with Lolthiriel we were able to destroy the forces of the brought to slay the nation release the control on the Avatar and return them to there original and pure purpose.
Visit to the grove
The Grove guardian Little dragon - ivy morghun with her protector and myself once again went to dark haven to check on the status of the grove of the Darkelven pantheon and the progress of Evrons attack on Lolth.
What became very apparent was the increase in population within Darkhaven many dark figures and clear strangers and tracking showed hundreds of visitors to the area within the past few hours. The locals were clearly moving around sparingly and directly between building not wishing to stop for idle conversation, most staying in there homes completely.
The ancestors in the grove were clearly building to confront the treat.
With this information we returned back to our camp on the surface to explain the situation in the muster which was shortly to occur.
The Final blow
While Briefing the nation on the situation developing in Dark Haven the muster was interrupted by an unexpected visitor Galen Tain eternal champion of - Zinzerena
Confirming my suspicion regarding Darkhaven we were warned the betrayer was starting to move and now was our only chance to save Lolth
Assembling the faction together we were able to gather three transport teams together for the assault.
The enemy force protecting our approach to the grove would contain Cultists, Ancestrals and Gorgons which held us for some time.
we progressed into and around the grove as cultists performed rites attempting to kill / Corrupt avatar representing the aspects of Lolth. Some we reached in time others were destroyed, before we purged the grove four of the aspects would be lost or corrupted. and four of our number would be lost.
What this means going forward is unknown Lolth will likely be forever changed.
